THE NEIGHBORHOOD

A five minute walk south will take you to the picturesque Ocean Springs Harbor, where shrimp boats are berthed side by side with sailboats, yachts and charter fishing boats. Walk two more minutes across the harbor bridge and you are at the entrance to Shearwater Pottery, where several generations of the Anderson family have produced masterful works for many years.

A ten minute walk in the other direction puts you in historic downtown Ocean Springs. Restaurants, shops, boutiques and the renowned Walter Anderson Museum of Art are all a short stroll away down oak-shaded Washington Avenue. The works of local artists are on display and for sale in many of the local shops.
Nearby is the Gulf Islands National Seashore, with a visitor's center, nature trails and picnic areas.
